Your information. Your decision.
What this website does—and does not do—when you decide to contact OpenSTEM Recruitment.

Who receives your enquiry?
OpenSTEM Recruitment is an emerging OpenSTEM initiative. The public contact address is shahriyarkarimsiam@gmail.com. You can use that email to ask questions, request correction of information you have sent, or ask about deletion.
How website enquiry forms work
When you submit an enquiry on this website, your form data is encrypted and transmitted directly to our official inbox at shahriyarkarimsiam@gmail.com. You can also choose “Open in Gmail” or your default email client to compose the message yourself, or use “Copy enquiry” to copy the prepared text to your clipboard.
We do not sell, rent, or publicly expose enquiry information. Messages sent to us are received directly by the mailbox operator to review and respond to your questions.
What information you may share
The student form requests your name, email address, study level, area of interest and question. The university form requests contact name, work email, institution, optional role and enquiry details. The purpose is to understand and respond to your request. Please do not include national identity numbers, passports, financial records, medical details or other sensitive documents in an initial email.
What happens after you send an email?
When an email reaches our inbox, it is processed by the email provider and can be accessed by the mailbox operator to respond. We do not publicly publish enquiries. We do not treat your initial contact as consent to share your details with universities or marketing partners. If a future service needs further information or disclosure, that should be explained separately before collection or transfer.
Retention and your requests
We aim to keep correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for responding, follow-up, record-keeping or applicable obligations. No fixed retention period is represented as configured here. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing us; legal or technical exceptions may apply. Requests will be reviewed in light of applicable law.
External links
Our other OpenSTEM websites, universities, official sources and Discord community are external destinations governed by their own practices. Opening those links may expose information to those providers.
