FOR UNIVERSITIES & INSTITUTIONS

Exploring recruitment in Bangladesh? Start with clear terms.

OpenSTEM Recruitment is seeking conversations with universities about potential, formally approved international student recruitment arrangements, initially focused on Bangladesh.

We are seeking prospective partners. This site does not represent an existing university appointment, endorsement or authorization.

OUR PARTNERSHIP PROPOSITION

A recruitment conversation built around suitability.

Institutions deserve honest information about the recruitment market, candidate eligibility and which activities are actually authorized.

01 / STUDENT FIT

Eligibility before referral

Proposed screening against your published academic, language and financial prerequisites before a candidate progresses through an approved route.

02 / AUTHORITY

Agreed scope

Clear documentation of authorized programs, recruitment territory, marketing permissions, candidate consent and any permitted representation.

03 / ACCOUNTABILITY

Transparent coordination

Agreed attribution, reporting, communication responsibilities and commission conditions—if those are part of a signed agreement.

PROPOSED OPERATING MODEL

Proposed process, subject to your approval.

This is a proposal for future partner discussions, not a description of an existing signed recruitment network. Every stage must be adapted to institutional requirements.

Discuss what your institution requires ↗
01Discovery

Confirm territory, eligible programs, student-market requirements and your institution's approval process.

02Due diligence & written agreement

Verify identity and any required registrations, establish duties and obtain written authorization before representation.

03Authorized student engagement

Offer accurate program information, eligibility screening and consent-based introductions under approved processes.

04Documented outcomes

Agree how referrals, admissions, enrolment and payments—where permitted—will be verified and reported.

QUESTIONS WE SHOULD AGREE ON

The details matter before any student is referred.

These are discussion points—not assertions that a university has already authorized OpenSTEM to recruit.

01Eligible programs and territories

Which courses and source markets would the agreement cover?

02Student information and consent

What may be collected, shared, retained and corrected?

03Application ownership

Who submits through which system, and who communicates decisions?

04Reporting and performance

Which milestones or records can be reliably verified?

05Compensation and conflicts

What is payable, when, and how are student-facing fees disclosed?

06Training and governance

What brand rules, agent training, oversight and termination terms apply?

ROOTED IN DOCUMENTED GUIDANCE

INSTITUTIONAL FAQ

Questions institutions may want answered.

Details of recruitment arrangements should be confirmed in writing with each institution.

Is OpenSTEM already an authorized agent for my university?

No such authorization is asserted by this website. OpenSTEM is inviting exploratory conversations. Representation would require your institution's express approval and appropriate written terms.

What student market would OpenSTEM initially focus on?

Bangladesh is the intended initial market, with a STEM-oriented academic focus. Expansion or other disciplines would depend on readiness and each institution's requirements.

Are admissions or enrolment volumes guaranteed?

No. We do not advertise applicant volumes, conversion rates, historic enrolments or student placement figures without substantiated operational data.

Can recruitment begin before a written agreement?

We would not present ourselves as your authorized agent or submit recruitment referrals under an agency relationship without completing the necessary approvals and documentation.

How would remuneration work?

Where commissions are legal and permitted, any fees, triggering conditions, payment terms and disclosures should be defined by the signed agreement. No particular commission rate is claimed here.

We welcome an initial conversation about recruitment priorities, compliance and a potential written arrangement.
